Although it is not expected that any person would be
 dissatisfied with anything received, the information is as follows.

There are stringent rules as stated within the Distance Selling Regulations There is virtually nothing on this site that is sold as a new product. Ex-shop stock is deemed as in unused condition, but still is 'second hand'; pre-owned if you prefer, as was 'owned' by a shopkeeper! The grade stated for each item listed is stated as such.

Records are cleaned, and then graded visually and sound checked. Final grade stated is an honest and qualified opinion of the seller of this web site. It is feasible for another person's opinion to differ, either for the better or worse, but in nearly all cases this would be a personal judgment, as the grading stipulated by the seller will or will not be detrimental against grade stated. On this site, only the latter is applicable; that is, 'will not'!

Printed matter, that is magazines, books, papers, etc, be it paid with a cheque or card, is deemed in law as not returnable. However, this site does not stand by this regulation if there is belief that the purchaser has a genuine reason for returning any such item. 

All stock has been scrutinized prior to being listed on to this site. Vinyl records have their stamping details and any anomalies logged.  Everything is double-checked prior to dispatch, and a photograph taken of the order.

In all instances, any item that is unwanted and to be returned, the purchaser must, in the first instance, contact the seller, and immediately on receipt of goods. Nothing is to be returned until the purchaser has received full instructions on method of posting, etc. On notification of this, returns to be within seven days. If a serious error had been made within the description, then a refund is given, including postage paid by purchaser. If this is not the case, then the postage costs are not refunded.

The premise has not changed in the 25+ years of conducting business. Thus, the enforced EU regulations have not affected the sales policy here!

** What is Significantly Not as Described (SNAD)?

  1. An item is Significantly Not as Described if it is materially different from what
     the seller described in the item listing. Here are some non exhaustive examples:

    • You received a completely different item. For instance, you purchased a book and received a DVD or an empty box.

    • The condition of the item was misrepresented. For instance, the listing said “new” and the item was used.

    • The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic.

    • The item is missing major parts or features that were not disclosed in the listing.

    • You purchased 3 items from a seller but received only 2.

    • The item was damaged during postage.

  2. An item is not Significantly Not as Described (SNAD) if it is materially similar to the seller’s description.
     Here are some non exhaustive examples:

    • The defect in the item was correctly described by the seller.

    • The item was correctly described but you didn't want it after you received it.

    • The item was correctly described but did not meet your expectations.

    • The item has minor scratches and was listed as used condition.
