| Breaking the 'rule' here,
this are two variants of MOON
record sleeves
from their shop in Plymouth. What is interesting here is that it pre-dates the Exeter store (quote ~ 'Branches - TRURO, EXMOUTH, BUGLE and TORQUAY'). The Exeter branch was opened in the early 30's. The premises 6 / 7 George Street was destroyed during the 2nd World War, thereafter Moons traded in various places, and returned to George Street in the 1950's, at numbers 13 to 17. |
p.s. Bugle is between
Bodmin and St. Austell in Cornwall.
