Listed on the nine c&w pages are some of the finest records issued of the country flavour, with, apart from the likes of Jim Reeves, most titles being pressed in low quantities. Thus, many of the ones listed here are not usually seen for sale at the usual record haunts! In fact, blowing one's own trumpet, it is very unlikely that one will find a British issue accumulation as comprehensive as listed on www.peterice.com anywhere else on the Internet?

Decca Records certainly had the monopoly on rock & roll and country music in the UK. Their ancillary labels Brunswick, London**, and RCA dedicated for American artistes, domineered over the likes of Capital and MGM, with the latter exploiting the late Hank Williams catalogue!

As outlined on the Sales Policy page, assume that unless otherwise specified, the records have the correct labels to be first issues. To reiterate, the LP's have: Capitol = rainbow perimeter; MGM = yellow; Philips = black; RCA Victor (stated as RCA here) = black with silver dot, subsequently red dot; pre 1978 RCA Camden (these are not reissues of previous albums) = 'grooved' yellow & silver; United Artists = black with silver logo.

Because of the time involved in taking photographs etc of each and every album cover, in the case of the Country LP's this has not been exercised. However, there are some 'group' photos included within the listings. If several images are requested of individual issues, a 'firm' order (min. of £14) will most probably be asked for prior to these being supplied. Established clients are exempt from this prerequisite. Thank you!

All the LP's priced £12 and above have been professionally cleaned and play graded. You will most probably find that nearly all will play slightly better than stated! The cleaned discs are placed into a new poly-lined inner, whilst, in most instances, the original inner sleeve is present.
