The set depicted here is from Francis Coudrill's own collection.
Being a 'printer's proof' example, it consists of a pre-production Invitation,
and 5 x sample illustrated (printed) replies that are glued onto thin card.

BE YOUR OWN VENTRILOQUIST

ALLDAY LTD * 11" x 14.5" (28cm x 37cm)
Thin, pre cut-out card, suggesting to glue the model onto thick cardboard or plywood.
The reverse details 'HOW TO BE A VENTRILOQUIST', depicting
Francis and his full size WILLIAM CASANOVA dummy.
Assume 6 different cards issued?

Tower Press prints, via mail order, as detailed above.
Although the box offer states 14" x 9" prints, the examples depicted here are 13" x 9 3/4".
Whether these were the actual ones issued is unknown, as none on file to compare with.
These were Coudrill's own samples from the printers'. There are 2 on each on file, with
one set having shiny fronts, the other set being matte. However, not quite a 'set', as
'HANK DRIVES THE HONKY TONK TRAIN' is omitted... must be rare !?

HANK Drawing Slate

Chad Valley * 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm)
Cardboard folder containing a sheet of glass. Instruction is to place a picture on the glass,
trace the outline, then remove the paper and complete freehand. To prevent the original
getting damaged, it would make sense to place the picture under the glass and then copy.

HANK PICTURE CUBES

Chad Valley * Box 6.5" x 6.5" (16.5cm x 16.5cm)
Composites six different pictures. Note that some the same as for the Drawing Slate depicted above.
nb. only 4 sheets are depicted; reason? = the only Coudrill item bought via ebay. Advertised
and sold as complete. As Hank was the picture composed when sent, it's a mystery why the
seller did 'not realize' that the Hank + the Silver King sheets were missing??
