Box 10" x 9" x 5" (25cm x 23cm x 13cm)
Plastic toy based on the craft featured
in the film 'THUNDERBIRD 6'.
Battery operated bump 'n' go action, flashing lights..

Box is not in very special condition at all due to creasing, splits, and tape present + tape marks around edges.
On of the two tuck-in flaps missing but still displays well.

Toy is complete, and in Near Mint condition, apart from two of the four under carriages that have been glued back into place. These are so delicate, and easily break off if not removed from the internal packaging with extra care! @ £445

THUNDERBIRD 2
Aoshin 1966

Toy 10.2" (26cm) long * Battery operated TB2.
Tin plate body and workings, having plastic fins.

Box Lid is Good only: general wear, with the 'window' replaced, 3 x splits on the top edge and one on side, small piece missing from side edge, Base of box Good, all original, and complete.

TB2's metal 'BATTERY BOX' cover is min.of VG, with the inside of the lid having been repainted. Battery terminals have been replaced. Remainder of toy is Near Mint and original, complete, and In full working order with a swift bump ' n' go action, engine sound (of sorts!) , and flashing thrusts (see large photo) @ £645

THUNDERBIRDS ~ KOIDE SUSPENSE GAME
Koide Shinkosha 1966

"Box 11" x 17.5" x 2" (28cm x 45cm x 5cm)

(1) 'SPACE BOARD' (not TB) with tilt action. This should
have an ENBAN (dome with under-ball), but this is missing
.
(2) a double-sided play board:
(a) ' DRIVE GAME' (not TB)
(b) 'THUNDERBIRD SPACE BOARD'
This has a still-sealed bag of play pieces.

If required, on purchase the rules of the games can be
explained, as these are in Japanese, underside of the lid.

Unusually, the lid's art is signed (printed)
by the Japanese artist, 1965.

Known for card games, etc, but this is
is an unusual product from Koide Shinkosha.

Box is VG, with light surface marks, and top
perimeter rim worn. No tears, defacing.
Contents appear unused @ £290

("THUNDERBIRD GAME")
Tomy 1966

Box dimension 9" x 13"" x21" (23cm x 33cm x 5cm).

Toy has metal casing with plastic front, cardboard underside.
Affixed pull-out metal stand. The white balls are inserted
into the front aperture. Metal pull-back trigger on side.
Grey plastic cup that clips onto the front collects the balls.

Box lid G only; 3 x splits on sides, damage
top right corner and a split at lower, face has
slight wear at centre of picture.

Pachinko's card base is VG+;

IMAI 1967

Original issue Plastic Model Kit. Box is almost identical
the reissue, but has JPM logo and printed price of ¥ 400 .
Body is blue and dark grey, sealed in a bag with header.

Card 8.8" x 11" (22cm x 28cm).
Narrow ribbon at top edge for display purposes.
Blistered plastic vehicle, with clockwork mechanism.
The medallion included acts as the key

Set of seven issued: this is six of them:
SPC, HELICOPTER, CLOUDBASE, SPV,
ANGEL INTERCEPTOR, PASSENGER JET.

Cards: clean, having some light creasing

Section 2

The toys are made by the company TO-HOKU SHINSHA, which translates into East-North New Ltd.
The red 'ST' logo printed on the box is the government's approved SAFETY TOY pass.

These were manufactured in the early 1970's,. The smaller models in red window boxes issued
a few years later on, with their title series erroneously being called 'THUNDERBIRDS' ...
..but I expect the Japanese have a good reason (excuse?) for this!
