GUN "Self Titled" ~ 1968 |
| Paul
Curtis, Adrian Curtis (previously Rupert's People, later Three Man Army
with Paul), Louis Farrell (Bulldog Breed). This was Roger Dean's first LP cover commission, although the design was a re-work of an already finished painting. Includes "Race With The Devil" and other tracks with great guitar playing. Shame a lot of this is overpowered with unnecessary orchestral arrangements! Note that Paul Gurvitz and Adrian Gurvitz are the same persons as here. 1: USA 1st press with Epic sleeve & label: Sleeve VG (has wear / rubbing) * Record EX+ (plays EX to NM) 2: USA 2nd pressing with CBS sleeve & red "Columbia 360 Sound" label: Sleeve VG+ (split on top seam, o/w EX+) * Record EX+ (s1 plays NM, s2 VG+) @ £10 |
