One of the most popular comic characters.  Originating from the Beano, with his first appearance being
in 1953, Dennis is still very popular today, with merchandise helping to promote the 55 year old comic.

The first annual was for the year 1956, and then issued every other year thereafter, until becoming a yearly event
 in the 1980's.  The pre 1976 annuals possess some of the most appealing covers issued by  D.C. Thompson.

A good selection of The Oor Wullie Book Annual for sale 
                                             

Dudley Watkins art.  Wullie is part of the Broons family. First annual printed 1940 for 1941, followed by
1943, 1949, 1951, and each other year thereafter, alternating between the issue of the BROONS annuals.
Year printed dated within 1966 on: 1966 is 1967 annual, and so on.
The covers are of card (soft cover), therefore NM examples are not easy to locate. 

This is Scottish culture. The strips are in dialect, which could prove difficult to comprehend
if one is not converse with the language North of the border! 

The stock no's in the 200's are most probably unread. 
Although graded as NM , 95%  are as new

The final annual was 1980, though the comic itself had merged with TOPPER mid 1977.

As I have never found or seen an example of this, it can be assured that it is a very rare book!
